Living four miles down a dead-end road in Downeast Maine, it takes two days to get the NYTimes delivered. Technology makes it possible for me to keep up with my news-guzzling days -- I subscribe to the NYT, WashPo, Boston Globve, Portland Press Herald and Bangor Daily News -- and scroll them every morning. Oh-- I do get the hard copy of the Quoddy Tides delivered every two weeks. And I read that thing from cover to cover at least three times in case I missed a tidbit of local news.
