Thanks for your piece. Letting go of my children was definitely one of the most difficult acts for me. It was fine when my son left for college but when he dropped out to be a rock musician, my entreaties fell on deaf ears. Six years later he's back in school, supporting himself, and still plucking the bass guitar. We're closer than ever but it was a painful path here.
